Volleyball season opener
The WVHS Band has been working hard since July 18 in preparation for this year! Band Director Wes Brown says, “The students have been working really hard and show a lot of improvement over last season. They were able to play and march their opening song by the end of the first week.”
The band is under the field direction of Drum Major Raven Scroggins and Guard Captain is Olivia McNeal.

Roger Hudson, motivational speaker and owner of Edutainministry, spoke with DES students on Friday. He attended Mississippi Valley State University and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. He believes in helping youth find passion in education, entertainment, and ministry.
