Teacher assistants from DES are enjoying the beautiful day in the park with the 3rd and 4th graders who met their growth on this quarters benchmark.
It's a great day at DES when teachers support and appauld each other. A co-worker sent in the photo of Mrs. Logsden this morning as she was assisting a student with his assignment before school. The co-worker stated that Mrs. Logsden goes above and beyond arriving on campus very early and staying late. She also is working on her master's in dyslexia training. After fulfilling her teaching responsibilities, she prepares "love packs," as a Junior Auxiliary project. The packs are sent home with children to make sure they have plenty of food for the weekend.
Thank you Mrs. Logsdon for your dedication and a shout out to your friend who is so proud of you!
Coach Russo’s students are watching the NCAA Basketball game today to chart shots and creating percentages.
