Mrs. Jacks’ students are working in groups to test insulators and conductors by using different materials to try and complete a circuit and make the light bulb light up. Student also tested the strength of a magnet by seeing how many connected paper clips their magnets could hold.

This is always one of their favorite activities in second year. we appreciate their time and the knowledge learned about their different careers and skills. Cornerstone also allows students to shadow one on one each week for clinical.

Last week DES 3rd-6th graders learned about color value and how to make shades and tints by mixing black and white with a color. They used these skills to make a value scale and a Monochromatic painting.
