Mrs. Dalton's 8th Grade Science Class performed a "Bird Beak Buffet" lab today to simulate h Charles Darwin's Natural Selection Theory. This theory may explain how finches evolved and responded to their particular environment to generate different types of beaks on the Galapagos Islands. Data was recorded and will be analyzed to determine how some finch beaks are better suited for particular islands compared to other finch beaks.
Mrs Bain’s Challenge class students visited Jamie and Linda Scott’s Dancing Bear Sanctuary and Sculpture Park on North Main. They decorated the sidewalks welcoming visitors to the Art Crawl which will be in Water Valley on Saturday night.
