WVHS continued with their Black History Month Celebration. We have focused on famous quotes and notable individuals who have made significant contributions. This week we focused on various HBCU'S across the southeast. Research boards were created by our 9th grade students and our history classes took time to visit our gallery of the institutions to learn more about this. Thanks to all involved in making this a success. Some of our very own staff and HBCU alumni had fun dressing in their school spirit apparel and seeing their school represented today! A special shoutout to Coach Sayles for all of her hard work in making this a successful event.
