Water Valley Band had a great day yesterday at the Crossroads Classic. Drum Major, Color Guard and Percussion all earned superior ratings, and Band earned Excellent ratings from all judges. The Water Valley Band will travel to Booneville next for the NECC Marching Festival.
Pre K has worked hard this week on shapes, letters, reading books, and scissor skills.

Mrs. Baker’s class learned the letter “t” this week. T is for Thomas, Twinkies and turtles!
Third grade students are working together to answer questions using reading strategies they have been practicing. Students had to identify where they found the answer and explain their reasoning.

Mrs. Allred's 4th grade students took a gallery walk around the classroom to explore themes from different types of texts. Music was played and students were focused, learning, and having fun all at the same time! Many lessons were learned with each story.
Fall Break is just around the corner. Students will NOT attend next Friday, October 4, 2024.
